As well as being an actor, Jacob is also a Singer-Songwriter. His first EP, "Where Did You Come From" was released on October 19, 2016. You can listen to it on Spotify, CD Baby, Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, or right here.
"Where Did You Come From" was conceived in October of 2014 when Jacob took a solo hiking trip in the Adirondacks. The EP explores what happens when people and places enter our lives and how we change and grow as a result. All of the music was written post April 2016 and maps an eight month journey of study abroad and travel in Europe back home to Ithaca, NY.
The EP is a purely acoustic album-guitar and voice. The first five songs are all original compositions by Jacob and the last is an original arrangement of a traditional American country folk song.
"Where Did You Come From" was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Cathedral Sound Studios in Rensselaer, NY.
